What these numbers represent

Each indicator definition and source stream is counted once in Macroverse’s source registry. Reporting periods, repeated observations and document releases do not inflate these totals. Source streams can share a publisher. Availability varies by series; inspect the source, reporting period and coverage alongside each reading.

From the first question
to a contribution worth reading.

Research, write and prepare your work for publication.
Economics is where the journey begins.

The challenge

Good ideas need context.
Keep it through every draft.

Scattered evidence slows the work

Sources, notes and first drafts often live apart. Rebuilding the context takes time away from thinking and writing.

Understanding comes before explanation

Start with the economic relationship, check the source and carry that understanding into the article. Even a growth figure needs its period and price basis.

Current prices include both the quantity produced and the prices paid.

Two ways to value output: current prices and fixed prices.

asked questions

A few things to know before you research, write and share your work.

Explore economic questions
What is Macroverse?

Macroverse connects economic research, writing and reviewed publication. Explore the Observatory, ask source-linked questions, develop an article in your personal workspace and submit it for editorial review.

Do I need an account?

You can explore the Observatory, Analytics, learning tools, public publications and public Ask Macroverse without signing in. Macroverse is in preview. Join early access to request a workspace invitation. Existing and invited members can sign in to save research and private drafts.

Where does the evidence come from?

Published observations link to primary sources such as MoSPI, CGA, RBI, government budget documents, GST releases and Tamil Nadu’s Department of Economics and Statistics. Research responses include source links so you can check the original material and its context.

How does AI help me write?

Start with a question, review the research and approve an outline before generating an article. Then edit the draft, check its sources and add your own perspective. You can also start from a template or a blank page.

Are my drafts published automatically?

No. Drafts in your workspace are private. You choose when to submit an article for editorial review; publication requires approval, and the editor may request changes first.

Can I save and export my work?

Save articles in My Documents and return to them in your workspace. Use the visual editor to refine the reading experience, then preview and export your document as a PDF. Research conversations can also be exported.

Is research unlimited?

No. The free beta has separate allowances for fresh research and article generation, shown in the workspace. Reviewed concept guides, manual editing and exporting remain available without using those allowances. Public Ask Macroverse shows its own research allowance.

Which Analytics features are available?

Pulse Score includes reference readings, drivers, historical context and calculation evidence, subject to source coverage. GDP Nowcast, GDP Forecast, RBI rate predictions and the enterprise topics are concept previews with no published results yet. Learning simulators illustrate relationships; they are not forecasts.
